Dr. Jorge Lightfoot, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Kevin Fuller, was awarded an OUHSC Vision Sciences Training Program Postdoctoral Fellowship in August. Dr. Lightfoot earned his PhD from Oklahoma State University. His research centers on the biology of fungi and their role in infectious keratitis. Dr. Lightfoot's one-year fellowship is funded by a T32 training grant from the National Eye Institute (T32 EY023202). Congratulations Dr. Lightfoot!
